The Ensignia Of The Past Fondly Remembered

This is something I wish to do for someone very special. He joined the Navy and during his 21 year enlistment he was able to accomplish many things. He was in the Naval Construction Battalion otherwise known as the SeaBees. I know he is proud of what he did while in the Navy and of what he was able to accomplish. Perhaps not the way he might of wanted but it makes me proud of him just the same. Here is a spot I have made for him so that he can see just how proud someone can be of very special person.

Hello my name is Lady_Roswell and I wish to tell you of someone. Someone who did something for himself as well as for the country that he lives in. Something he should be proud of and something that has helped him later in his life. The reason why he should be proud of what he accomplished and not be so upset about what other people did while he was serving us.

What is a SeaBee you might wonder?

I had never heard of a SeaBee of any kind before meeting my Very Special Person. The only person that I know of that was ever a SeaBee was of course none other than John Wayne otherwise known as "The Duke". Our All American Hero as it was once stated on an award given to him. He was the only one to show what a SeaBee did in the Military. So now I wonder if you yourself know what a SeaBee is and why they are an important part of our Military.

Without them we would probably not have bridges or roads or airstrips for the Military to use in other parts of the country. Or in the world outside of the U.S. They are the men we send to get things ready for the rest of the Military to use for planes as well as maintaining the service sites used by all parts of the Military.

For example: Who do you think maintains the Presidents reclusive camp that he is able to go to when the stress is overbearing. I do not mean lawn keepers I mean the actual buildings and housing that is on those sites. I know that my Special SeaBee is proud of the fact that he was able to meet one of our illustrious Presidents as well as maintain the grounds and buildings of one such President. His pictures hang on our walls to remind us of years past by.
